With restrictions now eased and life outside of lockdown slowly returning to normal and we also welcome a change in season; it’s time to get your Autumn colours out!
It’s all about those gorgeous burnt orange tones, browns and golds this autumn. We’ve created two gorgeous, simple make up looks, Glam Autumn and Everyday Autumn. So why not follow along and maybe try something new this season!

Glam Autumn look
1. Glam Autumn look
This look was achieved by using the Urban Decay Naked Heat eyeshadow palette & the quick flick eyeliner.
Before we get started on our eye make-up look it’s important to ensure you have a great skincare routine, we recommend a cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser! In the words of Meghan Trainor; It’s all about the base…
Once you’ve completed your skincare routine, we recommend leaving your skin for a few moments before you apply your face primer.
Step 1 – Prime the eye!
It’s important to prime your eyes before you put anything on top… no one likes their makeup coming off throughout their day… or evening! We’ve used the ‘Dior forever skin correct concealer’ in shade 2.5 N (always check your shades before you buy!)
Step 2- Contour the eye
Add a light brown eyeshadow around your eye socket with a precision brush, blend with a fluffy brush taking it just above the eye socket.
Step 3- Welcome to the dark side
Choose a medium brown to put all over the socket, if you get any eyeshadow drop just brush away or use a cotton bud with make-up remover.
Step 4- Blend, Blend and Blend again
Apply a dark brown eyeshadow just to the corner of the eye, we use an angled brush followed by a fluffy brush to blend into the medium brown.
Step 5- Bring the heat
It’s time to bring the fire, add a shimmer or glitter to the inside and halfway across your lid and blend into the darker shade using small circular movements. We’ve used the shade ‘Lumbre’ which is a beautiful gold!
Step 6- The quick flick
It’s time to add mascara and use one of the best inventions to have come into the make-up world… The quick flick! Liquid eyeliner has never been so easy!
You can complete the look with either a soft brown lipstick OR we love a dark brown for all those adventurous nights!

Everyday Autumn look..
We all want that fresh makeup look without spending hours on our makeup! This simple, quick, everyday look will take you no more than 15 minutes!
Step 1- As above, it’s important to prime your face and eyes before you step out the door, so you are ready for whatever life brings you!
Step 2- Apply a medium brown shade to the eye socket and blend with a fluffy brush
Step 3- Apply a darker brown shade to the outer area of your eye and again blend with your fluffy brush using small circular movements.
Step 4- Add mascara or lashes
Step 5 – Apply your favourite lip balm or try a nude lip we have used Mary Kay shade Rosewood
Step 6– You are ready for the day!
